- Get a copy of your health and billing records, usually within 30 days of your request (§ 164.524).
- Ask us to correct health information you think is incorrect or incomplete (§ 164.526).
- Request confidential communications by a certain method or at a certain location (§ 164.522(b)).
- Ask us to limit what we use or share; we will say yes unless a law requires us to share that information (§ 164.522(a)).
- Get a list of those with whom we’ve shared your information (§ 164.528).
- File a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights if you believe your rights were violated. We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.
